Canon release two new products at ODMA2011

ODMAFAIR saw the launch of two innovative new instruments from Canon, the CR2-plus non mydriatic retinal camera with fundus autofluorescence and the TX-20p non contact tonometer with pachymetry.

Making its world debut at ODMA, the very compact CR-2 plus non mydriatic retinal camera brings to your practice the ability to perform Fundus Auto Fluorescence (FAF) that aids in the monitoring of AMD patients and other eye disease.

Along with all the other features of the CR-2 such as compact design, superb image quality, anterior mode, multi view, multiple fixation points and the ability to seemlessly network to popular practice management systems, Canon have produced a new standard in patient care.

Canon lead the way in non contact tonometry with their combination unit that provides goldmann and corrected tonometry readings thanks to its ability to calculate corneal thickness.

Output a report to your server as an XML file (webfile) showing corneal thickness along with images of the corneal section and corrected IOP readings.Full automatic alignment and reading.
